Wine Down and Taste the Diversity in Downtown Paso Robles

The Downtown Paso Robles Wineries, a group of over 20 tasting rooms located in the beautiful and historic Downtown Paso Robles area, is releasing a 3-part video series touting the unique wine tasting experience available to the Downtown Paso Robles visitor. Each video features the affable Paso Wine Man, actor Casey Biggs, as he strolls downtown extolling the endless diversity of wines the tasting rooms have to offer, open arms hospitality and ease of access. Each video will be released this spring on the Paso Robles Downtown Wineries new You Tube Channel. First in the series was released May 17, 2018. The Downtown Paso Robles Wineries tasting rooms are conveniently located within walking distance of each other, boutique shopping, olive oil tasting and many of Paso Robles' best hotels and restaurants. Production ranges from micro wineries of 500 cases or less, to larger production wineries of over 20,000 cases. Each tasting room offers a unique tasting experience, often with the winemaker available to answer questions and provide wine making insights. Many tasting rooms offer afternoon live music, and extended evening hours to "wine down" before dinner in town.

Member wineries offer representation of the 14 sub AVA's within the greater Paso Robles wine growing region, named "Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine in 2013, "Best Wine Country Town" by Sunset Travel Awards in 2016, and was named Expedia's #11 city on their 2018 list of top 50 vacation destination spots in North America.
